Terms & Conditions

Terms for the sale of handcrafted, made-to-order watches.

§ 1 Scope & provider

These terms apply to all orders placed through this online shop between Custom Watches by Christian Wahnsiedler, Christian Wahnsiedler, Markgrafendamm 33, 10245 Berlin (the “atelier”) and the customer.

§ 2 Conclusion of contract

The presentation of products is not a binding offer. Via the enquiry form you submit a non-binding request. The contract is concluded upon our written order confirmation.

For bespoke commissions, the contract is concluded upon your approval of the final design. Production capacity is deliberately limited (max. 30 pieces per month, of which max. 12 fully bespoke).

§ 3 Prices & shipping

All prices include statutory VAT. Shipping within the EU is free and insured.

§ 4 Payment

After our order confirmation you receive an invoice. Payment is made by bank transfer; production begins once payment has arrived. Before shipping you receive photos of your finished watch for a final visual check.

§ 5 Delivery

All watches are made to order. Delivery usually takes 4–6 weeks. We communicate any delays transparently.

§ 6 Retention of title

The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.

§ 7 Warranty & guarantee

Statutory warranty rights apply. In addition, the atelier grants a 1-year guarantee on the movement. Water resistance is assessed case by case and is excluded from the guarantee.

§ 8 Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal (see the withdrawal policy). For goods made to the customer's specification (bespoke commissions), the right of withdrawal is excluded under § 312g (2) no. 1 BGB.

§ 9 Governing law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the customer's country of residence remain unaffected.
